センナの結婚用絨毯 Senna Wedding Rug

この絨毯は、東部クルディスタン地域のセンナで作られた結婚用の持参金の織物と関連しています。絨毯は19世紀初頭のもので、白い背景には特徴的な祈りのアーチ（ミフラブ）のデザインがあります。また、マシ・アウィタ（蓮の周りに魚）のパターンのバリエーションも含まれています。この絨毯は、19世紀後半のセンナのパイル絨毯と同様に、きめ細かく結ばれています。絨毯のデザインは、当社のデザイナーによって解釈され、元の絨毯に合わせて最適な色彩が使用されています。

The source of the rug comes from the book Antique Rugs of Kurdistan A Historical Legacy of Woven Art, James D. Burns, 2002 nr.29. This white background rug is associated with bridal dowry weavings from Senna, Eastern Kurdistan area early 19th century. This example is special because of its prayer arch (mihrab) design with a variation of Masi Awita (fish around the lotus) pattern. Like later 19th-century Senna pile rugs, this rug is finely knotted. The design of this rug is interpreted by our designers and the most appropriate colors to match the original are used for this rug.
