ビジャール アラベスク絨毯 Bidjar Arabesque Rug

この絨毯のデザインは、ジェームズ・D・バーンズの著書「クルディスタンのアンティーク絨毯：織りの芸術の歴史的遺産」（2002年、番号33）からのものです。これは、19世紀中ごろに設計されたシーナまたはガルルス、東クルディスタン地域の絶妙なクルド人の工房の絨毯で、分割パームツリーとトレフォイルのアラベスクのパターンが特徴です。このデザインは、イスファハンのジャーミー・モスクにある16世紀のティムール朝に触発されたファイアンスモザイクで見つかります。また、ボーダーパターンも16世紀から17世紀のサファヴィ朝の絨毯に関連しています。このデザインは、当時のシーナまたはガルルスの工房によって注文されました。絨毯のデザインは、弊社のデザイナーによって解釈され、元のデザインに合う最適な色が使用されています。

The source of the rug comes from the book Antique Rugs of Kurdistan A Historical Legacy of Woven Art, James D. Burns, 2002 nr.33. This is a fine Kurdish workshop rug with split-palmette and trefoil arabesque patterns designed mid-19th century rug from Senna or Garrus, Eastern Kurdistan area. This design is found on 16th-century Timurid-inspired faience mosaics in the Jami Mosque in Isfahan, and both it and the border pattern can be related to 16th and 17th-century Safavid carpets. This design was made to order by the Senna or Garrus workshops at that time. The design of the rug is interpreted by our designers and the most appropriate colors to match the original are used for this rug.
